We have really been having some fun with the poon! I have been watching customers jump fish on fly I had to get one in for myself
The tarpon bite has been consistent when you can hit the beach fronts, and when you can’t the reds inside have really been chewing well. Seems as though there are plenty of Jacks again this year along the backside of Hilton Head, The key there is find them early before the boat traffic fires up. Here are couple of things not to do, Put a salt life sticker on your car or truck, Fish one spot every day you go(camper), and the biggest foul of them all, bait fishing.

Been waiting for the man to show all summer and pow here they are, seems as though a big push of poon have entered the area and are hungry! MArk Nutting busted up a nice 70lbs fish on fly! Besides poon the reds have been really happy!! seems they are starting to really feed better, maybe they know something about winters lack of food and are getting an early start.
