Sweetness ! Â We have been having some major fun lately on the water. Â Due to so many local lookers on this page I haven’t posted to many pics of the latest happenings. Â Call for a more detailed report. Â Seems all the bait is in place, menhaden, shrimp and mullet. Â All the predators are in full force chewing on the unfortunate ones. What a fun day of fishing. Â It’s been a while since We have had the chance to go chase triple tail, and boy that’s what we did today. Â Triple tail have to be one of the most fun fish to sight cast for. Â Floating on the surface some pounce the fly while others follow. Â Today it seemed all the fish were pounching the fly. Â I had Chris Webber tie up a few flies for me just for the triple tail and they were the ticket. Â We didn’t have a single refusal on the new cricket. Â They also ate DOA shrimps tossed on light spinning tackle. Â We ended the day with 6 trips and I’m ready to go get some more !! Â Talked to some folks that hit the Broad River today for cobia and none were seen. Â Seems as though the cobia in the Broad River have become a good way to waste time and money. Â I guess that’s what happens when most folks are killing every cobia they catch. Â I have watched that fishery decline terribly over the years and this year seems to be the worst so far.
