Redfish are still the go to, but things are changing,  Jacks and poon should be showing themselves.  I love this time of the year when other fish are on the move, it’s nice to take a break from reds.  Whether you want to Fly fish Hilton Head, or Savannah no one has done it longer. Don’t over pay for a short trip.

This morning felt like winter not Early May.  To say the least I was a bit ill prepared for the chill, having taken all my winter gear off the boat. We have been having some good days with the reds and I keep hearing more about the cobia showing up.  As of yet I have not had the chance to go look around.  Next week for sure I’m going looking.  With the season closed on cobia there are hardly any boats on the river and this may allow for more fish to cruise the surface.
