The past week has been a strange one. With tides running well below the predicted low’s. The other day we had almost a -2 foot tide. Leaving many of the fish with no flat to hide on. There were places I have never seen dry, very dry. I think we had more mud than water. When you did find fish, they were some spooky dudes. Things are leveling out this week and should get a bit more back to normal.

The weather always keeps us on our toes this time of year. Jake had booked one day with me, but 49 degrees and blowing we pushed it back a day. Sunny and 70, what a change in 24 hours. There are some really nice schools of fish willing to eat some feathers in clear water, I guess it’s winter time, and Merry Christmas.
