Oh, how the wind blows

I don’t know what the heck is going on this April, but thus far there has been some wind, and more wind.  Although that may make fishing a bit tough it’s not impossible. We have been able to get out there and give the critters a hard time.  The reds at low water when before these big tides were really chewing well.  The high tide has been good as well with reds tailing as far as you can see.  Let’s pray the winds will back down a bit for the remainder of the month.

March Madness

March has been something.  We have had wind, rain, hot, and cold weather.   It seems as though we had all those in the past 2 days.  Ryan Kennedy has been fishing with me for some years and doesn’t mind some tough conditions. We dealt with rain and wind one day and 20 plus mph winds on the second day. All and all it was a good two days of fishing and exploring some new areas, a few places had fish and a few didn’t.  It won’t be long now and the Triple Tail will start showing up down south, and as the water temps climb more species will be showing up.
