Big time winter fun!!

What a week it’s been.  From stripers to schools of  reds 200 yards long, it’s been F$%&ing fun.  Looks as though the stripers are here for the winter and this is some kinda great news.  Windy days on the flats can be spent chasing stripers on the river where the wind is not such a concern.  We have been on a school of fish this week that”no Bullshit” is 200yards long!!  With  the hard west winds and negative tides made for more fish pooling up in the area.  Yesterday the reds were cruising up and down the flat busting the heck out of the mullet and shrimp.  Nice to see this time of year.  Anytime of the year!!   On another note, I have been using some Hardy Gear for the past year or so and I must say, Thumbs up!!  Rods and reels seem to handle everyday use in the boat, getting beat up and punished by customers and myself. (I’ve never been one to baby my rods).  So if ya have a chance give’m a look

What a Fall

The beautiful weather just keeps comming. This has been the nicest weather I can remember weather wise and the fish have been responding.  With winter upon us I’ll post pics of spotty action, due to the large amout of pics I take of reds in the winter.   With winter only just beginning Im already looking forward to Tarpon season.  I believe this bad boy has eaten me up after last summer.  Plenty of poons taken on fly .
