Been a busy on the water recently and haven’t had the time to post too much.  The fishing has had it’s ups and downs with the latest wind pattern that has been on us. Southwest winds at 15 plus at first light has made things a bit funky early with the low tides.  Leaving a bit later with the incoming has provided us with a bit of cleaner water and the winds a tad bit lighter.  With the heat we’ve had, your grateful for a bit of a breeze. When it has died off before the sea breeze it has been very warm to say the least.  All kinds of critters out there to throw feathers at, just need to pack enough water and ice to cut the warm temps.

Having a bit of fun with the critters

Redfish are still the go to, but things are changing,  Jacks and poon should be showing themselves.  I love this time of the year when other fish are on the move, it’s nice to take a break from reds.  Whether you want to Fly fish Hilton Head, or Savannah no one has done it longer. Don’t over pay for a short trip.
