Winds backed off today and we were greeted with some nice fish. My customer Paul had busted 6 nice fish and 2 of them were 32″. Hope we can keep the weather at bay and continue the trend

Tides and Wind

Boy we have had some tides and wind around the low country area. That dosn’t mean ya can’t find some fish. Headed up the New river the other day and found a decent trout and small striper bite. Can’t say the fish were large but when it’s blow’n 20 and 9 feet of water moving it’s nice just to find a good number of fish. The stripers were in the 5lbs range and had a big blast using rattle traps on light spinning gear. This week the tides are getting back down to normal and we should have some of the best fishing of the year! Reds on the flats stripers and trout. Savannah Fly is not just FLY FISHING we do spin and plug fishing as well, I just try and stay away from bait.
