I love some deep winter fishing,  the water is clear not as many folks on the water and the fish are hungry.  What’s best of all Pickney Island is surrounded with big schools of fish. I have been really diggin the trout bite,  working DOA’s slow and deep have been producing some nice specks.  Any chance I get to go trout fishing with a customer I get jacked. Seems most boats these days are after reds at low water.  Head out on the high tide and trout fish and no problem with boats and your catching not chasing fish.
