Been harassing plenty of fish in the past week. The big call was the tarpon. The winds backed off this past week for the 1st time the summer it seems, and the tarpon took advantage. One such day all around the boat tarpon were rolling and eating anything you threw. This is not a bait fishing seen! Got a few pics of boats hooking up and we jumped one and had so many eats. The reds are digging good on the big tides, and it looks as though we have plenty of good tides for tailers on their way this month.

Red Rumblers

Senor Paul Rankin and I headed out for some tail, last night. Plenty of reds in the grass, but with the overwhelming temps seems as though the fish are more swimming than Tailing. On the tarpon side, we have plenty of fish in the channels that you can bust on spinning rods and jigs. I don’t know if the water is to hot along the beaches or what, but they seem to prefer the deeper water this summer.
