Dang, after a great fall and winter weather wise Feb. has come in and let us have it. Â Many windy days and rainy days have been making the desire to go fishing tough. When the sun has peeked through the fishing has been ok, Â Can’t say great but we have been busting some fish. The good news here is the trout. Â We have been catching some nice fish on a variety of artificial’s. Â Water temps are bumping up and soon we should see something like cobia and triple tail show up. Â After a long winter I am ready to toss some flies at something besides a red fish. Â I was checking some of the other fly fishing guides web pages and one of them actually said the winter time fly fishing is no good. Â What a joke, tell some of the folks that have had 20 fish days on the fly with me this winter that. This is what you get through google advertised guides. Â One must truly do some research before hiring a guide for bait or fly fishing. Anyone can put their site up on google advertising and not have even guided more than a year, and are at the top of web pages. Â Do your research or you could be stuck in some bait chunkers bay boat telling you the tide isn’t right for fly fishing.
