The tides have been big the past few nights and that means tailers in the grass! We been chasing some reds around in the grass and just having a blast. My customers more than myself, with the heat the past few days I have been sweating to death poling the boat in the shallows. Reds and trout are biting well in respect to the heat. Many nice fish tailing this weekend . We are getting to that time of year that you want to get out on the water early and leave early. Avoid the heat of the day. Going on the tarpon search tomorrow and wed hopefully we’ll have some pics to show.

If you like light tackle fishing it’s on! As you can tell we have been catching a bunch of different fish using Spin, and Fly. Light spinning reels and artificals helped put 6 reds 6 flounder and a number of trout in the boat the other day. However you like to pursue fish we can get you to them. There are still some cobia around but not like years gone by. I think the lack of menhaden in the river is keeping the bulk of the fish offshore. There are plenty of trout reds and flounder though waiting to be caught so
