Bob with one of four nice reds taken on the big tide last night. Some nice fish tailing last night with Bob Vought getting 4 fish and may have had six fish if the wind had not been blowing 300mph. Anyone figure out the fly Black Drum love when in the grass please let me know. If one could get that fish dialed in on the fly, they have done something. Reds are easy compared to that fish.

Things are going well on the water, reds on the low and high water are feeding well. Been heading south to some old fishing grounds,( Cane Patch) We have been seeing more triple tail filling in along the beach fronts as well as some nice size Spanish mackerel. Spanish can make for a fun day on fly during the heat of the summer days. There are more tarpon reports and we have had some big jacks moving in. Tried for the jacks yesterday but by the time the tide slowed the wind had gone ballistic and we decided to go back to mr. reliable. (redfish) I had to pull into bass pro shops the other day and to my shock they now have salt life fishing shirts and the very next day I saw a truck with 2 salt life stickers and the driver got out with a salt life shirt. Dear Lord!
