Things are really popping on the water. Reds are smashing baits at low water and really digg’n in the grass.    We have been having some fun chasing reds triple tail and cobia in one day.  Yesterday I had been fishing the Hilton Head area planning on reds and cobia, the reds we caught, than went to the Broad river and it was nasty.  Clouds and winds made us retreat to the reds once again.  After catching a few fish we decided top call it at a half day.  I was heading back to Savannah when long time buddy  Will called and said the river was looking good come on!  Well here we go back to Beaufort,  we were paid off  with a nice cobia taken on fly!  Jacks should be seen any day now and the pinnicle fish of the all, TARPON very soon.

Seems as though the weather is settling a bit.  We are actually getting some light wind days in between fronts.  The reds are waking up a bit, but are still very spooky in some areas and completely stupid in others.  The triple tail are showing around triple tail city, when the beach fronts settle I will hopefully get some nice shots of caught fish.  It will be nice to fish for something different.  Cobia are beginning to show as well, and it shouldn’t to much longer for the poons!!!!
